Welcome to Second Grade!  I’m excited to be your child’s teacher for the upcoming school year. I grew up in Katy, TX and moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. This will be my 16^th year to teach. After graduating, I taught first grade in Taylor, TX for four years. In 2002, I was fortunate to join the WBE family where I have been teaching 2^nd grade.

I had a great summer spending time with my son, Vincent, who will be 1 in November.  My husband and I were also excited to learn that Vincent will be a big brother in January. It is another boy!

I look forward to getting to know each of you and being able to provide a safe classroom environment that will allow your child to exceed our expectations.
